Fr. Benedict P. Anthony

Fr. Ben was born July 5, 1959 and ordained May 13, 1986 for the Diocese of Ootacamund (OOTY), India. He received his post graduate degree in Licentiate in Missiology and Pastoral Communication at the Gregorian University in Rome. Fr. Ben has served as Associate Rector in the Diocesan Seminary, Associate in two parishes, Director of Catechism, Pious associations, Communication commission on the diocesan level. He has served in social communication at Sathome Communication Center at Tamilnadu Region Bishops Council as Regional Director. Fr. Ben has been a visiting professor to three major regional seminaries in South India in the subjects of mass media and pastoral communication. Recently his present ministry was treating victims of HIV-AIDS in India, particularly in the Tamil region, through the Missionary Society of St. Francis Xavier. Upon arriving in the U.S. he has been serving at St. John Vianney in Hacienda Heights.
