Friends of Sarah, a California initiative that requires doctors to notify parents before giving abortions to minors, has collected the required signatures to be placed on the November ballot.  Across the United States there are a number of state wide initiatives being put forward to address the antiabortion movement.  According to a recent Wall Street Journal article, the differences between the state initiatives highlight the philosophical division as much as the unity of the sentiments across the country.
