In respecting life in all its forms, we focus
our attention on
people with physical impairments,
mental illness, developmental or
learning disabilities, and chronic illness.
This is a life issue that deserves
our attention, our support,
and our prayers. The Catholic
bishops have called us to reexamine
our attitudes toward the disabled
in our society in order to promote
their well-being.
We encourage all parishioners as
members of the Body of Christ to
make a special efforts to reach out with compassion
to those who are disabled.
Are you
willing to open your heart and bring
joy into someone's life?
