The Pastoral Council is an advisory body for the Pastor on issues
related to the parish community, the Archdiocese and Universal Church,
always keeping in mind the message of Christ and the mission of evangelization.
The Pastoral Council, under the authority and leadership of the Pastor,
shares responsibility for the pastoral life of the parish, and helps
the Pastor to develop the vision and direction for the parish community.
The Pastoral Council has 8 to 10 members, consisting of:
- 4 to 6 At-Large Members whose term of office is 3 years,
- the Finance Council Chairperson during his/her term of as chairperson,
- the School Council Chairperson during his/her term of chairperson,
- the Ministry Council Chairperson during his/her term of as chairperson,
- the Justice and Peace Chairperson during his/her
term of as chairperson.
Membership interviews are conducted in November for seats that will
become vacant at the beginning of the next year. |
