Mr. Paul Faris

Born in Brooklyn New York a long time ago. Married 31 years to my wife Deborah. Two daughters, Nicole and Georgette.  Nicole does the choreography for Drama Club.
LAUSD Elementary teacher in the inner city for about 5 years.
Master Teacher-Trained student teachers from Pepperdine University's inner city campus in his classroom.
U S . Custom's Inspector- I worked and am trained as a U.S. Customs Inspector at LAX,  which I did during summers as a teacher. 
Left teaching and entered the family business manufacturing garments. At one time employed about 150 employees. Ran the business for over 30 years
St Mel Career
1998-2005- Volunteer 3rd Grade math teacher on Fridays.
Drama Club-  Started the Drama Club for 7th and 8th graders in 1999. It is one of the largest in the city.
Started "Search for the Saint Mel Superstars" -  a talent show devoted to the performing arts and designed to give St. Mel kids of every age a chance to perform and shine.
Funny and out of the box
Weaknesses: A little disorganized and old.
Favorite Book- I don't read.
TV shows- episodes of Gunsmoke, Perry Mason and Gidget
Favorite food- Jack in the box tacos
Favorite restaurant - AM/ PM mini mart
