Mrs. Alecia Grimes

I grew up in Spokane, WA among three brothers and one sister. I attended Gonzaga Preparatory School before moving on to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. I graduated with a Sociology degree and went back and got my Masters in Teaching from City University. My family and I moved down to Southern California in the summer of 2011, and specifically to Woodland Hills in April of 2013. This will be my fourth year teaching full time and I was fortunate enough to have a long term substitute position at De La Salle School in Granada Hills this past year. I love teaching 3rd grade and feel that my energy comes through to the students.

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family. I am married to a great man named Charleston, and have two wonderful kids, Cassius (7) and Alexis (4). We love the outdoors, sports and exploring Southern California!
